Directions: We will be on the north side of the Santa Cruz pier at Cowell's beach.
Location: We
will be located on the north side of the Santa Cruz pier. We will have
a pop-up located at the entrance to the beach for sign in and information.
We will also have 1-2 pop-ups on the beach where dryland surf instruction
will be given.
Parking: No parking will be provided for this event.
Hotels: There are many Hotels
in the Santa Cruz area. We are working on getting discounted rooms for
our events. as those become available we will post them in the updates
section of this page (above)
Clinic schedule:

Goal: To encourage surfing
among those with disabilities. We at least 10 participants attend
this event. these will be disabled veterans, and local disabled with Tramatic
Brain Injury (TBI),
Spinal Cord Injury (SCI), Amputees, Blind etc.... We really want to reach
out to these individuals
and help them enjoy the rebalitative power of the ocean and surfing.
The clinic is free to participants though
donations are appreciated. Any donations will be used to
help cover clinic fees, equipment, and transportation. Surfing instruction
will be provided by trained
surf instructors, and experienced surfers. These instructors will work
with each individual to meet
his/her needs and abilities.
Participants are encouraged to contact AMPSURF in advance
to make sure all efforts can be
made to accommodate his/her disability. Please sign-up

Volunteers are needed. Ideally we need a two to one ratio
of volunteers to participants sometimes 4to1.

program. If you would like to help out please bring a new unwrapped toy
(under $10) to the event and deposit it into the collection bin. We will
be doing this for all the events this year so if you forget to do it at
this one you can do it at another event during the year. We are hoping that
