from the event and some quotes from participants and volunteers.

Wow! Dana you and all the volunteers were awesome. I had a great time. I enjoyed myself so much. For all the other vets that missed the fun, please join us next month. Dana and the crew made this month so much fun.I had a great instructor. Thanks Steve!!! Although I was not my usual self (I was just getting over a cold) I had an amazing time not only on the beach but at New Life with Shirley, Steve, Willy, Deanna and all the others. Thanks again. -Dee Wright

I had a great time. I was a little discouraged as i seemed to do so much better last time out. Anyway it was definitely motivating to get in shape and practice more. Thanks for making it possible for me to get out more. Thanks very much for the gift of the board. -Greg Birkholz

and help them enjoy the rebalitative power of the ocean and surfing.

The clinic is free to participants though donations are appreciated. Any donations will be used to
help cover clinic fees, equipment, and transportation. Surfing instruction will be provided by trained
surf instructors, and experienced surfers. These instructors will work with each individual to meet
his/her needs and abilities.

made to accommodate his/her disability. Please sign-up online. or email us at participate@ampsurf.org

Volunteers are needed. Ideally we need a two to one ratio of volunteers to participants sometimes 4to1.

Sponsors, please contact us at sponsor@ampsurf.org, or (805) 441.5271 to learn how you can help.
We also welcome any charitable events or fundraisers to help support our efforts for the disabled.

We will still be collecting toys for the Toys for Tots program. If you would like to help out please bring a new unwrapped toy (under $10) to the event and deposit it into the collection bin. We will be doing this for all the events this year so if you forget to do it at this one you can do it at another event during the year. We are hoping that we can collect enough toys through the year to fill our new trailer.
